Grew up in the creek, like a lot of kids. Found a solace alone in nature. My fascination started with snakes, and expanded into a need to know every species. Constantly exploring to find out what i do not know and to fill the gaps. The better i got at finding snakes more often i would run into species that i could not identify. Winters were spent studying my states reptiles/amphibians drilling every ID and scientific name in my brain like its gonna be on tomorrows test, But to me it was on tomorrows test this was my life, and when catching snakes proper ID is critical to ensure safety. These snakes are FAST! so when one is found a lot of times i have split seconds to make an ID before the grab. Then its Gone and i cant show you what i found.
